Attention all Museum & Library Visitors:
We request you assist us with our
PARA - RYERSS INVESTIGATION
During the Month of October
Museum and library staff members have nominated their candidate for the spookiest, creepiest or scariest book or object. You’ll see their choices as you go through the building.
Conduct your own investigation and submit your nomination for the spookiest, scariest or creepiest in 2013. It’s easy: Take a form and a pencil. Once you have made your selection fill out the form and then return it here.
The votes will be tallied and winners will be announced the week before Halloween
Please join us at the Ryerss Museum and Library as we hold our first ever “Twilight Photography at Ryerss” event on Oct. 12, 2013 from 5pm to 7pm.
We are offering a unique opportunity to photograph areas of the Ryerss Museum that are usually not open to the public. Photographers will get a chance to go up into the cupola and photograph the fall foliage of Burholme Park and the panoramic views of center city Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Photographers will also get a chance to photograph the Ryerss mansion, our Asian Gallery, and our 2nd Floor Gallery which holds objects from around the world.
Admission is $20 per photographer. All funds received go to our cupola restoration fund. Please make checks payable to “Friends of Ryerss” and send cash or check payment to:
