Anytime: Self-guided Walking Tour of Burholme ParkExplore the history and splendor of Burholme at your own pace with our walking tour. Free copies are available outside the mansion in a box near the front steps or in the library at the circulation desk.
First Saturday of Each Month: Friends of Ryerss Used Book Sale
11:00am to 2:00pm - Visit the book sale room in the basement for great deals on used books of all kinds. Second Saturday of Each Month: Friends of Ryerss Monthly Meeting 10:00am to 11:00am
Second Saturday of Each Month: Crafty Kids in the Children's Library 1:00pm to 2:30pm- Kids, make a fun project each month under the direction of Ryerss staff. Children must be accompanied by an adult. FREE
2/21/12: Philadelphia Center for the Book Meeting 6:00 - 8:00pm- Join the Philadelphia Center for the Book for their semi-annual meeting. Staff member Ruth Wiley will give a brief tour of the Ryerss’ eclectic collection before the meeting. Please enter through the basement door and take the elevator to the 2nd floor. FREE 3/3/12: Robert Ryerss' Birthday Party 1:00 - 3:00 - Celebrate Robert's bithday with us in the library. There will be cake, games and special fun.
