Self-guided or guided tours are available of the museum.  Groups should call ahead to make a reservation.  Begin at the library's circulation desk on the second floor.

 

Anytime: Self-guided Walking Tour of Burholme Park                                        

Explore the history and splendor of Burholme at your own pace with our walking tour. Free copies are available outside the mansion in a box near the front steps or in the library at the circulation desk.

 

  

First Saturday of Each Month:  Friends of Ryerss Used Book Sale

11:00am  to 2:00pm -   Visit the book sale room in the basement for great deals on used books of all kinds.

 

9/25/10:  Burholme Stamp Club Monthly Meeting

1:30-3:00-  Second floor gallery. Learn about stamps, swap stamps, buy stamps, check out the stamp bucket, and socialize with fellow philatelists. FREE     

 

10/24/10:  Friends of Ryerss Antiques Appraisal Day

Noon - 3:00pm -  Featuring professional appraisers from Freeman's Auctioneers and Appraisers of Philadelphia.  Admission of $20 ($30 for two people) covers appraisal of two items, refreshments, and a self-guided tour of Ryerss mansion.  All items welcome except stamps, toys, dolls, and weapons. Photographs of items are welcome.  Tickets are limited and will be sold on a first come/first served basis.
