The Ryerss Library has been serving the surrounding community since 1910. As an independent circulating library, it lends current fiction, popular bestsellers, nonfiction, children’s literature, classic literature and reference materials. Area residents may obtain a free library membership and borrow books for a period of two weeks.

Elizabeth Wilder1The children’s section of the library contains a large number of reading materials for children of all age groups. The section has an area stocked with coloring sheets, markers, crayons, and board games. The library also hosts our monthly Crafty Kids activities. See Events for more information.

The library also houses the Ryerss Museum gift shop, where you can purchase a booklet on the Ryerss Museum & Library history, a selection of Victorian greetings cards, museum t-shirts, coloring books, and small charms.

Part of our catalog of books is available online at LibraryThing and we are adding more books to it all the time. Click below to see some of our books!
